We decided against favours. Instead we are having a cupcake table instead of wedding cake and a late night fresh doughnut station as edible treats instead.

I’m not having favours but in its place we’re donating to a charity. On each table we’ll have a sign that says “in lieu of a favour, we’ve donated to ...” with some information on what the charity does.

We want to save any way we can so we won’t be doing favours. The way I see it it shouldn’t be about gifts from either us to them or them to us. We just want to celebrate our marriage with everyone. Have a party, some food, and drinks.

We are not having favours but I decided to have cupcakes on each table with a "Thank you for celebrating with us" tag on it. This guarantees that everyone gets some of our wedding cake. We'll have a 3 tier cake ( 2 of the tiers being dummy tiers) just for pictures.

    Hope this helps Smiley smile

I don't think we will be doing favors. It's a cost that I think adds very little value to the day and are a bit of a hassle. I like the idea of gifting framed photos later on or making a donation to a charity in lieu of favors.

We’re on the fence. I don’t think anyone will notice if there’s no favours. We’re likely doing a modern art gallery wedding so I was thinking chocolate truffles. It’s simple and no one would leave those behind!

Lots get left behind to be honest. I don't think guests care too much.

It really does! Was thinking of doing something edible, but we're most likely gonna have a donut wall and dessert table so there's really no point

My brother did a photo booth and honestly that was my favourite part of the entire wedding. We got so many awesome photos of family that we never see.I still have the photos and it’s been over 4 years since the wedding. I’m doing a DIY photo booth and I’m honestly kind of regretting it but it’s too late for me to change my mind and my fiancé loved picking out the props and such.

I've been toying with the idea, but leaning towards not having them. As said in a lot of comments, they get left behind or just get put in a drawer! i'm thinking of putting the funds towards something else - cool photo booth or other entertainment for the reception

We're not doing them. People usually leave them behind so it feels like a waste of time/effort/money.

We’re not really doing favours. Our place cards will be wooden names, so they can take those home as a keepsake.

No favours for us. We decided to donate to our local Humane society that we adopted our pets through. They are providing us table/place cards that we personalized To thank our guests in memory of our cat who passed away.

🙋🏻‍♀️ Not doing them. We are doing a photo booth and a sweets table so people will be able to take home pictures as memories and/or a sweet if they wish 🤷🏻‍♀️
