Favourite Dance Songs?

We are not having a DJ so will be creating a playlist for the dance. We will be using Spotify but would like to download the majority of the songs beforehand. What are your favourite dance songs? What's on your must-play list?

    I think September by Earth, Wind, and Fire is like the #1 wedding reception song ever! It's impossible for me (and most people) to not dance when that song comes on! 🎵

    I'll also hit the dance floor for any song by Michael Jackson or the Jackson 5, and some of my oldies and motown faves are: Knock On Wood, Love Shack, Dancing in the Street, and Jungle Boogie.

    For some reason, the only song I can think of at the moment that I for sure need to hear at my wedding is "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey lol.

    Here's some of the songs off my list I'm working on that might work? Don't know if you like them but they're popular enough and they're upbeat. I also say go for 80/90's pop if you're struggling because the older crowd will know it, but like I'm a '97 baby and I know a fair amount of 90's pop and a little bit of 80's so it'll pull people into the crowd, and make sure different songs are mixed up and you go back and forth between current music and older music. The better it's mixed up, the longer people are on the dance floor!
