Hi all
I'm just trying to figure out if I need to budget for a gratuity or not since my venue is charging a 17% facility fee. Is this just another name for gratuity in the wedding world?? TIA

My venue actually put gratuity, so I am happy I do not have to worry about that and just hair and makeup

It is in other words when not stated on the contract. Our venue contract had the same thing applied towards our bill.

Hi Adriana, welcome to WeddingWire and congrats.
Tax, Facility Fee & Gratuity are all separate items. I found that out when looking at other venues in the beginning. Just find out if that is all due up front or after.
