We did cook for each other and complained that my food wasn't good. As a result, he took over and some meals are ok overall not too great. We do have homemade food for the most part.

My DH lived together before we got married and he does the majority of the cooking. He typically gets home before I do, so he starts dinner. That hasn't changed since we got married.

His job is getting busier and he'll probably start getting home later, and I might be getting a new "work from home" position soon so when that happens I'll probably be doing the majority of the cooking.

We recently just moved into a new place. I honestly thought I'd be the first to set the alarm off but surprisingly it was him. But both cool frequently, Jim more due to the fact that he loves to cook more than I do.

I’m a vegan, so my FH either has to cook for himself or eat my plant based food 🤗🤗 lol. He did recently buy the oh she glows cookbook and makes me recipes from it sometimes, which I think is pretty adorable. We usually don’t cook together cause we’re both control freaks ahaha

We cook together a lot. We have had a few disasters (set off the smoke detector trying to make fish and chips-and the fish ended up being undercooked!) I made a baked ham with a sauce that turned out to be a paste and the ham was dry.

Once we find a good recipe, we tend to stick with it. Taco salad, pancakes, barbecue chicken, stuffed peppers are some of our favourites.

    LMAO! Those pictures are great.

The first 2 years of cooking were hideous but we finally found our groove. I have most evenings off so I’ll do most of the cooking, but it’s still a learning process of figuring out what he likes and doesn’t like sometimes lol

We aren't too bad! He likes to cook and I will cook every once in a while. I prefer to bake more than cook though.

He won't let me cook for some reason, always makes every meal for us. He even goes out of his way to make it the way I like it

FH coooks more- his hours let him work from home or get home earlier than me. His skills cooking have improved A LOT since we started dating- he has gotten very creative with cooking and tries lots of new recipies.

The first time he made me dinner he invited me over to watch hockey and have homemade chicken noodle soup...awesome!... I noticed my soup was missing noodles (he ran out) and then he informed me the meat was turkey, not chicken, but "same thing, right?". Still my favourite story to teaste him about!

I love cooking- so I try to plan nice meals for the weekends Smiley smile And I bake lots of treats whenever I can.

HAHA Smiley laugh That first reality gif happened to FH!

I don’t mind cooking but FH gets home before me… AND he lived with his dad until he moved in with me (and he did EVERYTHING for him), so I’ve been “making” (not really) FH do the cooking lately so he can learn how. Best way to learn is trial and error. I would help but he bans me from the kitchen because I have a bad tendency to take over and do everything and get super bossyXD . But realistic life-long plan… it will be a joint effort!

In our case Nelly will realistically cook 100% of the time, since she gets home from work a lot earlier than me. She really enjoys cooking and we both enjoy home cooked food

I think in our case, we are more likely to cook for each other, as we enjoy a good home cook meal. Once in a while, we may go out for dinner or order out.
