How formal (or casual) did you decide to go for your engagement pictures?

Did you keep things casual and candid? Dress for a theme? Go fully formal? Or have a few outfit changes to you could have everything covered? 💃

I’d bring a change of clothes and do both! Half casual, half Formal. We are going to do half our Engagement Photos In a Park and then the other half in his parents woodlot.

Semi-formal. I don’t do ‘casual’ except for work (I work in a warehouse) I live for nice blouses and flowy dresses and make up and getting my hair done.

We are doing both - a more formal look (me in a floor-length gown, him in a suit) and then a casual look (jeans & nice tops). I think it will give us the best of both worlds... and it gave me an excuse to buy a BEAUTIFUL dress!

We kept things pretty casual as we were taking engagement pictures in the winter. We both wore winter boots, jeans and coordinating sweaters.

Kept things cool and casual. We picked places that were meaningful to us including the coffee shop we first met. We sat in the same table.

We're doing three outfit changes, because I can't choose! Haha.
We're having our pictures taken at Fort Edmonton park in the next 2-3 weeks.
Our first 'section' is the 1920s midway and street, with it's beautiful theatre. We are wearing 50's inspired outfits - I have a black tea length dress with cherries printed all over it, a red belt and red pumps, and a red crinoline under the skirt! He's wearing black dress pants and shirt, a red bow tie and red suspenders, and a beautiful black wool fedora.
Our second 'section' is 1905 street, and will be semi-casual. He'll be in khaki's and a white dress shirt with tiny pineapples printed all over it! I'm not sure what I'm wearing yet, though - probably a simple sundress of some sort.
Our third section is 1885 street and the Fort. This will be casual - capris and a nice shirt for me, jeans and a t shirt with an open button down over it for him.

We are doing casual! We will be hiking up a few km to a gorgeous viewpoint on the Sunshine Coast Trail. I'll be wearing a summer dress and my fiancee will wear Jean's and a nice tshirt
