It was very difficult to stay positive through all of this. Thankfully my main stone is the original diamond that he proposed to me with. I was heart broke when I was told that they would need to give me another ring. Very frustrating.

My ring is from Peoples jewellers. We had a lot of issues with it (this is my 2nd engagement ring from them) but I still love it!

View quoted message He paid attention when I said I always wanted an Aquamarine for my engagement ring. Its a 2.25 ct Aquamarine, the band is white gold, rose gold, and lots of smaller diamonds, and the double halo of diamonds. He based it on an emerald cut Vera Wang that I liked, the guy pays attention lol. Under the aquamarine is a sapphire for my son, and a real Alexandrite for him.

Yes the pics in the post are of my ring, my FH designed it himself. He went that route because he couldn't find any rings that had thick bands like he wanted.
