Engagement ring!

Hey guys!!! I've been wanting to do this for a while as I work with kids and it was my top concern. The other day one of my students splattered paint and it got all over my ring!!! I cleaned off as much as I could. I'll be going the jewelry store my fiance bought my ring to get it cleaned anyways, so it will look brand new and sparkly again but is it wrong if I get a fake ring to wear to work? Do you know anyone who's worn a fake engagement ring for their own reasons and is it a common thing?

    My FH works as a welder so we’re going to get him an actual ring to wear when he’s not at work (like the weekend and going out for the evening) but he’s also planning on getting a finger tattoo. He’s thinking he’ll do my initials (won’t changed after we get married) in a nice script that looks like it wraps around

    I would recommend wearing it on a necklace or chain, just to make sure it doesn't get dirty but also doesn't get lost. A ring dish is a good idea if you have one you can lock up inside your desk, just as long as you don't forget it there. That would be my luck 😂🙈 lol

    While I'm at work I keep it in a ring dish in my desk drawer that thankfully locks. Then FH and I have a little home gym, so I just keep it on my bed side table. But I have one friend that keeps a necklace chain in her purse so whenever she feels she needs to take her ring off she puts the ring on the chain and around her neck.

    It's more common than you think! I work with machinery at work so I wanted something that would be safe for work and bought a silicone ring from Enso. I also wear it when working out and they come in so many pretty colours too!
