Are you having an MC at your wedding? Ours is so small that I’m wondering if its really needed?

Our DJ also doubles as an Emcee. I really liked the idea of one, because I don't want to have to worry about timing (i'm a total type a personality, control freak) and he will also keep some of the guests in line LOL.

Great ideas here! I think splitting it up between 2 or 3 people is the best.

We've asked a member from each side of the family to MC, that way its not just one person with the stress of it. its also a way for our family to see our family together and get to know each other as they work together. We are going to have 120 people at the wedding and another 30 or so joining after for the party portion

We want to have an MC for our wedding, and we are having a small wedding as well. I think it really helps with the flow of things from my experiences attending weddings in the past.

I would definitely have an MC! We are having my FH's two uncles Co-MC together. They're both really funny & we think they will be a great addition to the wedding!

You can always have your DJ MC as well.

We had an MC for our wedding, which was less than 90 people. It was easier than having us do it and try to remember all the house rules and all the bride and groom stuff. You are generally very busy enough on your wedding day without adding MC responsibilities to your list.

I would recommend an MC. I think it helps to keep things moving. It can be anyone attending the wedding. My brother is doing it for us. For his wedding, he had the wedding party take turns. One welcomed everyone and introduced the wedding party, one led the shoe game, one announced people for speeches, etc
