Email invites going to junk folders

Megan, on August 12, 2020 at 14:49 Posted in Tech support 0 4

I am wanting to send out my save the date's via email through wedding wire but when I tried to send a test one to a friend, it went into her junk folder. How do I prevent this from happening and if I can't prevent it, what are some ideas to let my guests know I have sent them an invite and to check their junk mail?

Thanks

Hi Megan! Since email setting are different for everyone, we recommend adding the weddingwire.ca email address to the contacts portion of email settings. Some email providers also have the option to allow specific emails to come through without getting caught in spam mailboxes. These options can usually be found in the email settings. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at help@weddingwire.ca if you have any additional questions or concerns!

Everyone needs to go into their email's junk/filter settings and add weddingwire.ca and weddingwire.com to their whitelist.

Yes it comes from wedding wire. How do you whitelist a domain?
