I don't know anything about this place specifically, but when it comes to the amount of people 4 is plenty. The place that I went to for my wedding dress had a limit of 4 as well, at first I thought it was not enough, but looking back it was perfect. The area was small and even with 4 and a stroller it was close. If I would have brought more there wouldn't have been much room to move!

the boutique itself, in my opinion, is small which is probably why they limit it to 4.

I didn’t bring more than 2 people, but I LOVE that place! I bought my dress for there and it came in 2 months earlier than expected!
They're also incredibly nice there. I can understand why they’d limit you to 4 people since their change areas are not super large. How many people were you planning on bringing?

I haven't been there but I have been to a smaller shop where they can get pretty busy and it gets cramped in there.. how many people did you want to bring?? maybe give them a call and see if they can make an exception if you only have a couple more than 4.
