Easy peasy invitations!

Jen, on August 3, 2017 at 12:11 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 13
I just printed out our invites! It has been the easiest thing so far to plan! We ordered a template from etsy, purchased envelopes from paper garden and have printed everything from home. The paper we used was purchased from Michael's with a coupon so we got a deal on that! Im just waiting on one last detail from our venue regarding kids meals and then can print out the RSVP and details cards.

I have a question regarding RSVP cards though... Do you out one per envelope or one per person that you are inviting at that household?
Here's what our invites will look like. Nothing too fancy as we are pretty simple people. Fits us perfectly. We have pint envelopes for the outside and small grey envelopes for the response cards. We even purchased the wax letter stamper to seal the envelopes Smiley smile

Very nice and simple. Keep it simple with the RSVP to send per household as per the invitations.

We are going to do RSVP's through a wedding website (we went through appy couple).

It cost $50 CAD to set up the website which we can keep our guests updated & they can RSVP with dinner choices. Saves us on postage & paper.

It does! I'm hoping to get our engagement photos within the next few days so that we can put in our order with vista print for our save the dates!

Thanks for the idea about invitations on Etsy. I didn't even think about that. I have found ones on vista print that I like. But I will definitely check that out. For RSVP though I believe what we are going to do though is get them to email or call as postage is just so expensive these days and we are having a buffet so they do not need to choose between 2 selections.

Love your invitations! Such a cute design and I love the different font styles Smiley heart

You should only do 1 RSVP card per invitation. My best suggestion would be to add "please initial your entree selection" to the RSVP card above the meal choices, so you know exactly who's eating what!

We forgot to give these instructions on our RSVP cards but it all worked out fine! Some people went ahead and initialed their choices anyway, a lot of couples ordered the same choice, and for the couples who didn't initial their choices we just kind of randomly picked Smiley atonished We figured they were sitting next to their date at the reception so it's really easy to switch plates if necessary! Not a big deal!

Ok. That's what we thought buy my fiancé is set on sending one RSVP card per person so that it's easier to know who's coming and getting what for dinner.

Love the invites!! I actually looked at those ones when I was shopping around haha. They are so cute and simple, great choice!
I think you only put one per envelope and I think you just put the names of those invited on each envelope. So if it's a whole family you address it to "Mr and Mrs blank and Family" otherwise I would just put "Mr and Mrs blank" If it's just the couple that is invited.
