E-invites?

Clauds, on May 31, 2021 at 08:46 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 7

Has anyone done this for their wedding? My reception is in August and I would like to send out invites online in batches (depending on how many people will be allowed by this time). I've already had to spend a bit over my budget got other reasons and would like to save on the cost of paper invites.

I made our invites on Canva and texted the family and friends with:

    IT IS OFFICIAL!

We would like to invite NAME OF PERSON to THE WEDDING OF THE YEAR! 🎉🍾 - #THEBURUNDIS We also have a wedding website *woot woot* ...etc....”

We sent out electronic save the dates and we are planning to do a piece printed invitation for the formal invite, but the invite will direct guests to rsvp online via the wedding website. We sent our electronic save the dates just via text or direct social media message

Ahh. Okay that's good to know. What site are you using to send out your invites?

We've always intended on sending e-vites, regardless of the pandemic. Most invites required me to go on a website to RSVP anyway so might as well find me online from the get go. I've only ever received one invite where I had to mail the thing back and I know it cost the bride and groom a ton of money.

So I'm team e-vite all the way!

E-invites seems casual way to send out invitations. A website with information would inform your guests better of the events, timings and locations with and RSVP section to reply back.
