I turn to you because I'm feeling kind of crazy and I'm going crazy having second thoughts about the colour of my dress! I found the dress style of my dreams but when I said yes to the dress in the store I was wearing a moscato coloured dress with ivory lace/tulle overlay. I ordered the dress in ivory with ivory lace/tulle and now I feel like I've lost all the detail I first fell in love with. Basically I feel like the ivory on ivory makes the details seem much more subtle and on the moscato dress it seems to pop so much more.
Just to paint a picture, my wedding is in October at an '1800s -historic styled' brewery location.
I reached out to the bridal salon and they're willing to order a new dress in moscato and exchange my ivory one for me. I'm so fortunate to be able to have this option but I'm worried about making the right decision. My FMIL would prefer the ivory as it's more 'traditionally' white and my MOH also prefers ivory but supports whatever I decide.
Has anyone else had this struggle or thought process when dress shopping??
