    The amount you spent is good and considering not everyone will eat cake. I ordered enough myself for 75 pple 3 tier and pastries.
    The cake topper i ordered for our cake cost $27 worth it.

    I've now decided to bake my own low sugar wedding cake because several people coming are diabetic including my FH. One of the members on this site drew my attention to the sweetness of the Costco slab cake I was going to buy. There are some great recipes online so I'll start experimenting soon. Is anyone else making their own cake?

    The caterer is providing a variety of deserts for the buffet dinner so we are just getting a Cosco slab cake for $20.00. Apparently, they are very tasty with a filling inside. You can choose from a variety of decorations and colours so I decided on their standard anniversary cake with roses and bells on it. I have two cake toppers for it.

    We're getting a small 8 inch cake and cupcakes. It's about $300 but I'm sure it'll be less when I figure out how many are coming.

    Our cake is included in our venue price so we're not paying extra for it.

    We are paying max 100$. We are just getting 40 cupcakes. We are also debating not doing cake as we already have so much food that it might be a waste of money.

    Our cake is going to be around $1,000...because its going to be made of wheels of cheese that people can snack on late into the evening.
