Does your wedding band match your engagement ring? Or is it different?

My wedding band "matches" but it's not the matching pair that is meant to go with my engagement ring. The "proper" matching ring also had pave diamonds around the band, but it was so expensive that I decided to go for something more simple instead. It's just a plain gold band but has the same 2mm thickness and is also knife-edged to match my engagement ring. I actually really like the contrast between the two, and I can wear the wedding band while I work or travel without having to worry too much about it.

My engagement ring belonged to my grandmother, so we had a bit of a task trying to find a wedding band that matched up to it well enough. The setting is high profile, so it was a little bit awkward to fit up with a band, and weren’t willing to drop a load of money on a custom made band. The gaps between the two rings are super subtle though, so it almost looks like they were meant to go together!

We havent designed our wedding rings yet. I may go with a ring that doesn't match. I will rarely be able to wear my engagement ring so I can do anything I want with my wedding ring. I really love the rose gold right now....

I would say mine matches, it is white gold with diamonds around it! Just adds a bit more sparkle

Matches We got both my engagement ring and my wedding band custom made so they match perfectly!

My engagement ring is rose gold and beautiful while we repurposed my grandmothers band to fit my engagement ring and its yellow gold. Together you would never know they are different colours! Plus its 88 years old!

My band is white gold and has diamonds like my engagement ring, but it's not the ring that is in the same collection as my engagement ring.

It's a different band, but same metal. I like the 2 different bands, but they also look like they go together at the same time

We haven't picked mine out yet. My engagement ring has stones along the band, I might do a matching band with stones as well. I'd also be happy with a slim white gold band to match the metal of my ring.

The material and thin band matches my engagement ring and I wanted something simple but different. Very happy with the result but it's too big so I have to exchange it.

I have a single ring because I thought even a custom designed wedding band would take away from it. I do love a well thought out mismatched set though.
