With people being so busy these days, would you send out a STD card for a vow renewal ceremony or this considered bad etiquette?

Renewal Save the Date is nice to do as planning any event and making plans to book ahead of time with arrangements of visa if needed for guests.
A nice note to add is if not able to make it, please send a video greeting for the couple.
My niece and nephew did this with the whole family for their parents 20th anniversary.

I think this is one of those “know your crowd” things! Most of our guests will require flights to get to us, so STDs give them time to start looking at flights while they’re most affordable, but before they have to RSVP either way.

I personally would! My parents did for their 35th last summer just so people knew ahead of time and could plan accordingly and get hotels and such.
