We are renting speakers from our venue and a mix board and will be subscribing to spotify. I am pleased with this decision (fiance is still on the edge about it). We are having people take turns running the music so everyone can enjoy the dance at some point in the evening.

Will do! Its a mix of 80s rock and new awesome songs, and some I know he'll hate but they are so cheesy awesome they're in there anyways. I left my list at home, I'll bring it in tomorrow for you!

    Ceremony no idea yet.

reception. DEFINATELY a dj. already booked. this was a no brainer in my head. I want people having a good time, dancing with no lags in between songs due to a playlist.

We had our iPod and laptop with playlists on them that we hooked up to speakers for the wedding. We didn't see the point in spending the money on a DJ and our location was really kind of out in the middle of nowhere so it would have been difficult.

DJ we wanted to have a giant party with amazing music at the end of the day it would have cost almost the same for downloading the music.

Definitely having a DJ. I want to not have to worry about what's happening with the music since I've been to a wedding where the DIY music was not executed well.

DJ! That’s one thing I will not compromise on. I love to dance so I want a DJ to control the music

Probably iPod playlist for the ceremony and easy listening during brunch as there won’t be any dancing 💃🏼

We'll have a live acoustical guitarist for the ceremony and possibly the cocktail hour, then we'll plug the ipod into the venue's sound system for the luncheon reception.

The restaurant we are having our wedding at has a speaker system that you can plug your iPhone/iPod into. So we are just doing that! Smiley smile

DJ. With my luck something would go very wrong if we tried to handle it ourselves
