Thanks for the suggestions! We ended up going with the preferred vendor from our venue which luckily has up-lights, table spotlights, projections, and other stuff included. Was the simplist way to go lol.

Step by step DJ! The package had the hours we needed along with games and he is our MC as well. It even includes lights which we thought weren’t a big deal but realized after they are those backdrop lights which is great to add to our decor (we have a huge bare wall at the reception). He also brings speakers for the outdoor ceremony as the venue only provides speakers inside.

Im going with one highly recommended by my workplace, Interactive Entertainment. Based now in Oshawa, but they DJ all sorts of events.

I have looked at the list (and started emailing some). I'm open to any option for a DJ (either random or based off a reference), I just want someone who will be the right fit for my wedding lol.

so I decided on a DJ and it worked out great as a friend of mine is a great DJ! He works with any genres, and is so personable. His name is DJXL, I paid around 1200.
