We have been doing everything ourselves from invites, to decorations, food, and the ceremony program since my friend is a one day officiant to marry us.
We've delegated tasks to various people: an out of town friend is doing our music for us, another friend is doing the cake (paid but with a 30% discount)
We'll set up the day before with whoever comes to help us although I don't want too many people there seeing it before the wedding. And take down after and re-place everything.
Lots and lots of origami.
With 18 days to go I still have a few important things to finish: boutineers, origami stars for a sand-like ceremony, my back drop for the ceremony and another for the photobooth, seating chart board (chart is done). And lining up some help during the reception which I am waiting to hear back on.
All in all I am very happy with our hands on approach I just hope everyone remembers what they need to do and when.
I am trying to relax and making sure to spend good quality time with my FH.
