DIY or Buy? - Hair, Nails, & Makeup

My college roommate and I both went back to school after university and she apprenticed with hair and make-up care. She's offered to do the hair and make-up which is a nice relief for me!

I will be getting all of that done! I can make myself look presentable, but on my wedding day, I want to look the best I ever have and I know that sweating over how my hair turns out, and trying to get my eyeliner just so is going to drive me nuts!

My nails, hair and make up are being done by a team of professionals. My skills are basic so I'm leaving it to the pros.

Actually my MOA and I have decided to do the hair for anyone in the bridal party that wants it done. We’re both licensed stylist and it just didn’t make sense to hire someone for that but I have hired a make-up artist for all of us.

Leaving this one to the pros also! I am good at doing hair and makeup however I don’t want to have to worry about that the day of my wedding. Highly recommend trials just to make sure you are both on the same page.

I'm having one bridesmaid do my hair and another my makeup. I was thinking of getting acrylic nails but decided I do a pretty good job with my own manicures so decided to do my own nails. Saving quite a bit of money doing it that way.

Leaving this to professionals. I am a daily high ponytail and next to never make-up wearing gal. It will look a hundred times better if they do it. Less stress too. Who doesn't like someone fussing and playing with your hair? :-)

Definitely calling in the professionals for this! My cousin has her own hair studio and she is my hair stylist normally so she will be doing mine and my girls hair for us. One of my bridesmaids friends used to do wedding makeup but only does it for family and friends now so we're using her. Nails I'll just go to a salon.

Nails my sister is doing, hair is being done by my hairdresser and makeup is undecided.

Im having my hair and nails done professionally, both are amazingly talented and also invited to the wedding! I’m still iffy on makeup as I’m very particular and like doing my own.. I think I’ll do a makeup trial and decide from there.

Professionals! I would hate for my hair not to stay in place for the wedding (for pictures) and I wanna feel pampered a bit just one less thing to not stress about

Hair is being done by my amazing hairstylist and I think I’m doing my own makeup. I’m not 100% decided yet but I like how I do my makeup.

I'm very very bad at hair/make up and all that.

My oldest sister wants to "give me" my hair and make-up... via a hired professional. I would have gone this route anyways... I want my hair and make-up done right, and I want the person who does it to have that be their only focus. I don't want to take away from any friends or family enjoying themselves.

My younger sister may help the other bridesmaids/moms with their hair and make-up, once she's ready. I made the mistake of offering to do my cousin's bridesmaids hair and make-up. Including me, there was 5 of us... and I was doing my make-up 15 minutes before we had to leave for the ceremony. BAD IDEA.

Including my sister there's 4 girls, but they are all people who regularly use make-up, so I'm not concerned for them to manage on their own. Maybe just help with hair-dos.

My best friend (and one of the bridesmaids) is gonna do my hair. She's done my hair before and she's great with it.
Make up will be done by a professional, same as for nails.

Professionals for everything. The lady doing my hair is also an amazing makeup artist.

My hair will be done by professionals because I still struggle to get a nice looking bum let alone a fancy curly updo. The makeup I will be doing myself though because I’m fairly confident in my skills and I know the products that work for me

Makeup I can easily do myself, also one of my brides maids is a professional makeup artist so we're good!

Professional! I suck at all of those on my own, so definitely needed a little professional help to guide me and help me look amazing the day of!
