DIY or Buy? - Cake Topper

We're nixing the cake topper. Most people will probably be full by the time cake comes out at ours that I don't think it'll even be a big spectacle.

The venue is doing our wedding cake and the cake topper is going to be edible. It's a detail I don't care about.

No cake so no topper

We found one that we both really want. However it's like 60 bucks. So we're waiting to hope it goes on sale! We will probably end up just buying it though.

I made DIY cake toppers for a friend's wedding that were cute and simple! I think I may stick with the same thing for my own upcoming wedding.

We got one off etsy the says Mr & Mrs. I LOVE it!! It is rose gold and just perfect. My cake is a simple white butter cream so I will be getting my florist to add some flowers to it.

I’m buying one that says forever. We always say forever to each other. Thought it would be a nice touch.

We aren't having a cake, so no topper required.

I hadn't considered a DIY cake topper! We haven't looked into this yet, so I'll have to see what options I have/what I can do. I'm not big at spending money on one time use items, where they are only priced so high because it's wedding stuff. If I can make the same thing for half the price, I will.

I bought a custom made topper from amazon with our name and date on it!

Since my fiance and I are huge nerds and collect Pop Vinyl Figures, I'll be making custom ones of us in wedding gear to go on top of the cake (or beside) as well!

We purchased ours from Etsy! It's a little homage to Dr.Who, so it was perfect for us.

We are having figures that will go on our sweets table. his is a knight based on a game he loves playing, mine is a figma from an anime.

Didn't have a cake so didn't need a topper.
