diy or Buy?

I bought soooooo much stuff off aliexpress!! they have so many wedding stuff and its so cheap!

I bought a lot of it off of local wedding swap sites on facebook. We are doing most of it diy instead!

I’ll be DIY-ing quite a bit! I’ll be making a portion of my favours; soy candles w/personalized match boxes. I’ll also be building an outside bar out of wooden skids (see photo), as well as making a few hand painted signs and seating out of wooden skids as well! My centrepieces will be simple; polished (wide) soup/tomato cans with flowers that I’ll be buying in bulk and arranging myself. We have this gorgeous birch tree that we may be cutting down from our yard this year as well. I want to salvage what I can from it and possible make our dessert stands out of it.

I'll be doing DYI for a few things. Bouquets, finishing touches on centerpieces, cake/cupcakes and candy bar. Not sure what else yet. I love planning.

Half the projects were done to purchases made in stores. Small hurricane lamps had black material with sticky diamonds placed on them.

DIY projects done on the computer and printed are something that can be done as to getting it done professionally paying extra over your budget. I ordered sticks and paper online creating a program 2 sided looking the same and steps with meanings for those not knowing what happens in some of the rituals.

Some things you can create are paper flowers as origami projects to create your centerpieces and bouquets. Youtube channel has lots of ideas to look upon too. Good to check it out.
