Very excited to say we have figured out our centerpieces and i couldnt be more excited about them! Total cost: $40 for 24 centerpieces.

This is not quite the finished look, but it was good enough for us to figure out everything else we need. We are also going to add some twine with a bow onto the candles, use burlap underneath (instead of a pillow case haha), tuck in a couple little cedar or pine sprigs and the whole centre piece will be on a big douglas fir round.

Has anyone else made decorations similar to these? Looking for ideas of other decor i can put up to match and where to put it? We are having a backyard in a field wedding under a large tent.

I put the black ribbon, gold wreath and tealight holder in the hurricane lamp. The same can be done except for the wreath and tealight. Its simple and unique.

Ooh nice. Works well with your theme!

Our plan for other decor is to make extra centrepieces (which are potted plants) and put them on the tables for gifts/cards, the guest book, on the bar and some bigger pots at the entrance. And lights from the ceiling. Our venue is nice enough that we don't need to do much other decorating!

That is going to look so beautiful, it will go with the outdoor wedding theme for sure. Our idea is to use 2 wine bottles ( spray painted ) and a mason jar with some babies breath in it, on a round slab of wood!

I love the twinkle lights that you have incorporated they look so whimsical !

Thats nifty. My plan is to use wine bottles as a flower vase and make submerisble flowers as candles (if your not sure what they are google it or look it up on pintrest. They are very beautiful). Thats about all i got for the time being but i hope ot helps
