Bouquets diy Bouquets and Boutonnieres 1

How many are making their own bouquets and boutineers?

I made these for myself and my bridesmaids and I want to make boutineers for the groomsman. They will be in Navy, what colour of flower should I go with for them? Any tips for making them?

Those look gorgeous!! I’m also deciding whether to go fake or real florals...would it be too obvious in photos? I want to make something similar but with eucalyptus and white roses! Did u make floral decor for the venue as well?

They look great! I didn’t make mine but my sister-in-law did! The bouquets were orange and white and the boutonnières were a single white rose with a bit of greenery.

Impressive! I plan on DIYing many things but the flowers I just don't think they would turn out as professional looking as yours.

They also turned out amazing ! Want to do mine for me now? lol I think we have two of the same flowers, I bought the same white one you have there in the boutonniere as well as the white budding tree branch piece. I honestly I have no idea what you would call it but they look awesome! (:

I’ve been researching and am leaning towards making my bouquet with fresh flowers so I can preserve it and save a bit of money doing it myself.

Thank you!! Thats great, there are some good deals on now! I took your advice and came up with this boutonniere since it will be against navy suits! Thanks again!

Your flowers look amazing! I hope mine turn out just as well, I just bought all of our flowers from Michaels and scored a huge discount. I am sure you have already gotten advice but just to pitch my help would be to make the boutonnieres from a little bit of the same greenery used in your bouquets and a light pink or smaller white flower if they are wearing a dark suit or the burgundy if they are wearing a lighter colour suit. I would find a smaller flower that has the same design or at least compliments the ones already in your bouquet. Best of luck! They've turned out beautifully so far.

Good idea, that will probably still save you some money! I'm DIY'ing most of my things too. I was thinking those colours as well.

    WOW! They look amazing!
I'm also making DIY'ing my bouquet, centerpieces and decorations. I might have to make them here (Alberta) and ship them to my parents' house (Ottawa/Gatineau).

As for the boutonnieres, I'd stick with either white or blush flowers, which would both look really good on their navy suits!

I would do a burgundy flower for the boutonnieres. I think burgundy and navy look great together. You could do a white or light pink for your FH to make him more unique!

Those look absolutely beautiful! I will be making mine as well with the help from my Baba who is a florist.

I think the burgundy colour that you have in the bouquet would go very nicely with their navy suits.

As for tips, I can't be of much help as all I would do is have my Baba do them/ show me. Otherwise google will be my best friend for how to make a boutonniere.
