Did you buy something you knew was over-budget?

The venue was beautiful yet the most expensive with everything inclusive for the most part.

I went over budget on our photographer but I worked in it our budget and cut corners in other areas.

Guilty. Our photographer was over budget by a lot and also my wedding dress after alterations will be over budget but it is so worth it.

Guilty! so far I have now gone over budget with my dress (after purchasing another after dress regret!)

Guilty! Photographer and my dress are waaaaaaaaaay over budget.

Guilty. My dress was $800 over budget. Wasn't my fault though - my Mom kept making me try on more and more expensive dresses until I was no longer paying and she decided to gift it to me LOL.

Innocent, and I actually regret it, I have a few things I wish I had splashed out a bit on. It's a good quality to be frugal, but sometimes you just need to spend a little because weddings are special! Don't go in to debt, but if you can afford it, go for that upgrade or little extra treat. Don't be like me and dream of the flowered blusher that got away!

Guilty. My wedding dress was $100 over budget after taxes, and I was a little too extravagant in asking my bridesmaids to be in my wedding party. But I feel that it was a pre-gift for all their hard work. As a thank you gift, I'm just getting their jewellery now.

Nope, we've been very good with our budget. Our rings were under budget as well as my dress.

Guilty. I feel horrible for spending the amount of money on my dress as I did. I spent way more than I wanted to. I went in with a plan to spend as little as possible (like $400 MAX). They passed me a dress, I fell in love, and paid $920 🙈🙈

I have been pretty good with this. But when your paying yourself it's easier to stay on track.

Innocent. We've been really smart with booking everything. Under 10k for 120 people! Dress was 700. Totally below budget for most things. Hurrah!

Sure did, my wedding band, but since it was something I'd be wearing every day and have forever, I thought that was worth the extra spend to make sure I got something I would love forever.

Innocent! We were actually pretty good as staying on budget and saving on a lot of things so that we could put that money somewhere else.
