Destination Wedding in Jamaica

Hello,

My partner and I are planning a destination wedding in Jamaica for January 2023, I would really appreciate feedback on destination wedding experiences or planning with resorts in Montego Bay, Negril and Ocho Rios.

I am seeing so many conflicting comments about the condition of resorts that are considered 4 and 5 star hotels. I would like to choose a place that my family and friends will feel safe and have a wonderful time that's not too expensive (not too much to ask).


Any feedback on your experiences is greatly appreciated.

    We arr getting married at the hilton rose hall on Montego Bay in September, so far the communication with the wedding coordinator is good. Be prepared for costs you were not thinking about.

    I went to a wedding in Montego Bay in January. The weather was awful. Lots of wind and rain. I can't remember the name of the resort, it was nice but the weather made everything very difficult for the bride.

    Royalton, Couples/Secrets resorts and Sandals have excellent reputations for weddings and accommodations.
    Sandals offers free wedding ceremonies and have options for upgrades at cost. They also have group discounts. I personally love Sandals South Coast and Sandals Ochi.
    I have also been to a wedding at Royalton Blue Waters and it was gorgeous!

    Sandal resorts are great to enjoy for families and weddings. The work and effort put into what you want done and set up by the resort saves you time.


    Destination weddings are becoming more popular as i am attending 2 this year. One was just in Mexico which was enjoyable with such beautiful wheather. Its worth looking into any of the locations for Jamaica.
