My partner is originally from El Salvador, moved to Canada when he was 12 with his dad, but the rest of his family is still there. We are contemplating having our wedding there. I’m not sure if it would be considered a destination wedding if we actually have local people helping?
What is the first step in even planning a wedding across the world? (I live in Manitoba Canada)

Congrats on your Engagement!!
Make sure to check if your marriage is legal down there. See what requirements are needed. Canada doesnt recognize the union in other countries for Canadians.
You could call it a destination wedding if you are inviting people from Canada. ❤️
