Destination wedding

Lillian, on September 11, 2016 at 17:00 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 5

Hi ladies!

Wondering if anyone can give me some tips on destionation wedding costs for guests. I'm currently planning for Costa Rica and the venue I've chosen is not an all inclusive. Is there a standard cost for guests when looking at their travel+accommodation?

thanks!

I'm sure you already have figured this out.. but iT would depend on what your guests do, where they eat, what you have planned for everyone as a group.
We are doing a destination in Jamaica however I chose an all inclusive to keep costs relatively low for everyone travelling. Asking them to travel for our wedding was more than enough for them to pay out of pocket for us.

What's the next step on your planning for your destination wedding? Are you organizing everything remotely?

    Hi Jenn,
Thanks for the response! The resort I chose is not an all inclusive so drinks/food (lunch & dinner) is not included in the cost per night. I was wondering more so if there is a cut off point for price when looking at travel/accommodation costs for guests.

Hi lillian, i'm also having a destination wedding. if you wonder how much guests will pay for travel + accomodation, that really depends on the venue you chose. yours doesn't include accommodation? it also depends what season you are getting married if you're going in high or low season. we decided to hire an agency to help us with all that cause it was really hard to organize everything from here
