Cuba will be amazing destiantion for a wedding! How did you and your FS decide on it?

Are you looking for a planner based in Canada or a local wedding planner in Cuba?

I would just look at 5 star resorts myself and contact the hotel directly. i find destination weddings are MORE expensive than booking it myself!

Every agent has their way of knowing what clients are choosing their destinations or choices when planning their trips/weddings. You may know someone that is great in advising the best places to consider for your venues in the city itself of the country chosen. It will be hard unless you do inquire with a few agencies and then know which travel agent is going to be your best advisor to plan your trips onwards and getting their best opinions based on your choices.

We've used https://m.destinationweddings.com/ for our travel agent and she's been absolutely wonderful! She takes care of getting all of our guests accommodations and flights arranged. We get a concession from the tour operator (SunWing) based on the number of people that are coming.


Our resort has a wedding coordinator that we are working with to plan all of the events, and then we have a day-of coordinator that we will meet a few days before the wedding.

We were debating a destination wedding, but decided to stay close to home.


Sandals resorts do weddings with customization and planners and photographers all built in. The more guests that come the more perks you get for your wedding like free champagne toasts or a private honeymoon dinner. They've got lots of resorts down south, a few in Cuba!
