Destination bachelorettes

Laura, on August 16, 2017 at 10:07 Posted in Before the wedding 0 12

Hi ladies, are any of you planning destination bachelorette parties? We're planning for April or May 2018 but need help choosing a resort and location. Any recommendations are appreciated Smiley smile

We're thinking going south, probably 4-7 days depending on the deal, inviting 8 girls Smiley smile

If I save up enough money I am thinking of going to Kelowna for the weekend with my bridesmaids and other friends. Rent out a vacation house found one that sleeps 8 with a massive pool/hottub. Go to vineyard tours for a day , rent sea doos/jet skis , go tubing and wake boarding , and go horseback riding in the mountains. Smiley smile

How far do you want to go, how long will you be away for, and how many people are going? Do you want the destination to stay in the country or go abroad?

Vegas is always fun! Just don't stay at the SLS we didn't enjoy our stay at the hotel.

VH Gran Ventana in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic if you want to go down south. Great resort, good food, amazing beach! You could also look into something closer to home and rent a house or something through AirBnB.

I guess it depends on your budget. There are lovely resorts in Ontario such as Deerhurst. But if you want to leave the country, I've been to Veradero, Cuba and it was very nice. That seems more like a honeymoon destination though.

I am hoping to have my bachelorette in around that time too, and I am considering a long weekend in Nashville!

That sounds fun!! I would recommend going to Cuba as they are one of the cheapest places you can travel to. They are mostly all inclusive which is great. Also they have some of the nicest beaches in the world from what I've researched. I've heard great things about Cayo Coco, Cayo Santa Maria and Veradero all in Cuba
