Desperately looking for Venue! And everything!

Thank you all my beauties!! We have booked a winery in niagara on the lake, cut our guest list in half and have booked a caterer.

Now I have another dilemma 😞 my dress arrived, it’s the wrong colour and cut!!

Did you try Balls Falls Conservation Area, its a beautiful place they may have room (they have a barn venue, and an indoor venue that has one wall of windows facing beautiful forest) They have reasonable prices, and also Cater Me Please are super awesome caterer that has helped me BIG time with my tiny wedding budget. This is our venue and caterer for fall 2019.

Cater Me Please : (905) 635-5846 They have many packages from 30$/person BBQ Buffets and so much more!! They also have rentals available like table clothes, etc. and bartenders too!

We have a very small budget as well since we are both just out of school, we want to pay down school debt and save for a home not spend all the money on one day.. So these two vendors really helped with that!

We have a restaurant in milton called The Grand Chalet. Their food is amazing!!!! And they have a really pretty banquet hall for weddings in their upstairs. They also have a spot out behind it for ceremonies... might be worth looking into. Their cost is very reasonable!!!!

I'm not sure about Ontario, but I know there are companies in Calgary that do "Pop-up" weddings. Super affordable, on the smaller side, and they look like a lot of fun! It might be something worth looking in to?

There is always the option to elope and have a wedding celebration at a later date! I haven't actively started planning our wedding yet but I am quickly jumping into the "forget this! let's just go to Vegas and get married". It makes my fiancee laugh but deep down I think he's also wanting to do it.

Yeah thats what we've been trying to do, but it's hard to find a piece of land or farm to put a tent on

Would you be open to renting a tent and doing it in a winery or open field? You may be able to coordinate a vendor or have something unique like a food truck?

Thank you ladies for all your help! I’ve been calling and emailing pretty much every restaurant and location from Mississauga to Niagara Falls. We have a very tiny budget now because they went bankrupt and doubtful we will see our money anytime soon, if at all.

We’ve cut our numbers way down and it could be as small as 40 or of we find venue we’d really love to have 70.

I'm getting married here too!
last June we asked for a June 23rd date.. they were already booked. But maybe Fridays or other days may be available?

We are having our ceremony and reception all in one place. It's called edgewater manor and it's beautiful! They're in Stoney creek but because it's actually a restaurant that has weddings they may have availability. Good luck. I'm sure it'll all work out.

Sorry you had to go through that! We booked at the OCC in Oakville for May 20th, 2018! Maybe give them a call. They are part of Edge Hospitality Group and have a variety of locations to choose from. Maybe they will have space available and make it happen for you!

I agree with Karen call around and see. Also depending on your numbers and where you live restaurants have now started doing weddings so maybe try a few of the higher end ones around you. Any friends or family with a big backyard? Before my numbers grew so large I totally considered my moms backyard. She has an awesome deck that we could have done those tall standing tables with passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. Maybe hire a catering company that comes with servers?

What area are you in with how many guests? Maybe we can help track something down?

Oh no! This sucks! So sorry to hear. I would reach out to any and all venues that you like in your area, explain your situation and see if any of them can accommodate your wedding on your date.
