Dealing with Kleinfelds in Toronto

Little late but adding to this because I had such an amazing time at Kleinfeld Toronto!

I went in with a literal binder of dresses I had in mind haha! My consultant was named Stephanie and she was amazing! She looked through all the dresses I had and helped me sort through which we could try based on what they had and my price point!

Speaking of budget, I had read horror stories of other brides going in and the consultants disregarded their budgets, I did NOT have this issue at all! I told her I wanted the ticket price on the dress to be between $1500 0 $2500 max! And she did! There was one Randy Fenoli dress I wanted to try on (because I adore him so much) and she warned me a few times that the ticket price was over my budget. I knew this and really just wanted to try it on for fun and she allowed it!

Honestly the best part was that I went in with an idea in my head of what I wanted, and she catered to it so well! The first dress she brought me she had picked out separately from my collection and told me she thought it would be good! AND I ENDED UP PICKING IT I WAS SO HAPPY!

I'm glad I found my dress here! I was worried too since I basically only planned this appointment to have the fun "say yes to the dress" day out with my friends, mom and fmil. I honestly didn't think I would find the one but I did and it was so much more special with everyone there for me too!

Hidden costs is nothing up front (just tax on the ticket price), you pay 60% of the total cost up front and then the remainder on pick up! The only 'hidden' cost would be alterations which for my dress starts at $700... I haven't agreed to this cost yet as I may shop around once I get my dress in as it seems a little high for me! But they do not force it!

Overall I had an amazing experience! I had read a few negative reviews online but I am very happy my experience was nothing but amazing!

My experience was absolutely amazing! I went in with a good idea of what i liked and didnt like and what i found works for my body type. My consultant was amazing and right from the beginning i definitely feel like she understood why I was looking for.

Kleinfelds definitely has a wide range for different budgets, just make sure you are clear with your consultant on your budget is! Also, definitely make sure to bring pictures, but be open to what the consultant pulls for you!

I tried on 4 dresses total and fell in love with the 4th!! It was not a dress i had shown to the consultant and not one I had been able to find online prior - but it was everything I wanted in a dress!! After I said "Yes to the Dress" they popped champagne and gave a glass to everyone I had brought with me.

I ordered my dress Sept 16th 2017 and they told me it would come in sometime in July, so I am anxiously waiting at this point. My wedding is Sept 29 2018!!

I haven't been, but like Joyann said, try to enjoy it! I'm sure it will be a memorable experience.

My experience was amazing. It was a lot of fun and my consultant was encouraging and helpful. That said, I never intended to purchase my dress from them because they’re super expensive. They also try to sell you a $800 flat rate alterations package...crazy! Anyway, enjoy the experience as it’s once in a lifetime. No need to feel anxious...the consultants are highly experienced and will take care of you. Remember to bring proper undergarments and your wedding shoes, if you have them. Good luck!!

They have so many gowns, at varying prices and most of their stock is in the back. Go with lots of pictures and ideas so they can pull the best options from the back. They let you go into the salon and pull favs that you want to try. My first appt I tried on 6 dresses. My second appt I tried on 7 and found the one. Alteration costs I believe are 4 fittings at a flat rate cost of $795 I think. So keep that in mind when you are looking for your gown. They also have a range of accessories to pull from.

I went to their Trunk Sale about two months ago, so my experience was not what yours will definitely be.

I found they have lots of different prices so the range is pretty wide. They were very attentive with me even though it was a crazy day for them.
