Day of coordinator - yes or no?

I have one included with my venue! So YES!

I’d like one but my FH thinks it’s a waste of money.

Our parents will keep things going, my mom will likely be on top of all the vendors.

We're using the full services of a coordinator instead. We hired her bc her full service includes design. Ours is a cross country wedding so we didn't want to assign many tasks to family/friends, we just want them to be able to come and enjoy.

100%. It was a recent decision on our end but we just decided there are so many moving parts to the day that we want to enjoy. She will be keeping our timeline flowing and be the one to answer all the questions we don’t want to!

Ugh, I wish I had one. I'm lucky that I have some dear friends I could lean on to take some of the coordinating responsibilities on the day of.

We have one that comes with our wedding venue and I’m super grateful for it because at least it means I don’t need to worry!

But then we realized that we needed somebody on the ground to ensure everything ran smoothly. Our venue doesn't include anything other than the venue. The dj, bartenders, caterers, photographer, etc, are all hired separate form the venue, so we need somebody to vendor juggle on the day of. Somebody that isn't us haha

Our venue has a day-of coordinator, which was included in our package with them. She will coordinate the vendors' arrival and setup, as well as as the take down at that end of the evening. They'll also make sure that we're on schedule

Our venue has a in-house coordinator who makes sure the vendors know the timeline, the venue is set up to our liking, and anything else to keep things running smoothly.

YES! She has done so much for us already and it isn't the "day" yet.

We aren't hiring one. Our wedding is going to be pretty laid back so we will do setup in the morning and the staff at our venue will hit play on our ceremony music.

Our venue provides a coordinator. She ensures all our vendors are where they need to be, and that the venue is set up the way we like!

We have hired the owner of our venue who happens to do DOC!

She will be there for just about all you can think of, 2 in person meetings leading up to the wedding to help with the seating chart and the guest list, attend the rehearsal, help organize people for the wedding photo's, provide water to not only us but the flowers to prevent wilting, etc.! Everything I can think of is covered!

My venue comes with a coordinator which is amazing! She is in charge of ensuring the venue is set up how we want, that the vendors arrive at the correct times and everything is dropped of/set up as it should be. The only thing she doesn't do is press 'play' for the ceremony music...so we have to find a guest to do that (we are thinking of asking the girlfriend of one of the groomsmen)
