Day/month of coordinator

We have a day-of coordinator helping us. Suoer fortunate that she is a long time friend and doing it at no charge. I'm super organized and have run big events with her so she knows my expectations and I know she can deliver! We are paying for her room for one night and a lively basket of wine & snacks for her room.

I went back and forth on hiring a DOC for months! I finally got serious about it last week. My wedding date is Feb 11, 2023! I started getting anxious about how the day was going to progress, and how I was going to decorate. We cannot get in the night before. Anyway, I say all that to explain that I hired someone who usually charges $1200.00. Because our wedding is just around the corner, she charged $600.00 for day of coordination and $100.00 for decorating and tear down. She says she is experienced but branching out on her own now. Fingers crossed she's good, but if she's just "okay," it's at least some weight off my back.

Everyone company/person has different rates and packages, shop around, ask some of the wedding local groups on marketplace.

We are paying $1500 for ours!

We paid 950 for our day of cordinator. Which included the rehearsal. But of course every province is different in price.
