David's bridal bridesmaid dresses?

Melissa, on October 21, 2017 at 07:55 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 16
Hi!I am having the hardest time figuring out where to get bridesmaid dresses. I have six bridesmaids and want them to be in the same Color and length, but whatever neckline\style they want. I've been looking around local stores and find the bridesmaids dresses to be so expensive for what they are.. I've considered ordering online but that worries me as well. Has anyone used David's bridal? I like the dresses I see on their website but would like to know the average prices for their floor length gowns in Canada. We will have to travel out of province to visit a store so any info before I book an appointment would be appreciated!

I travelled through a sbow storm to fly to have a date with my Maidens (don't like bridesmaids) My photographer was there and my Matron and my cousin had appts. It was so busy but they definitely are so prepared for the most part. Wide selection but I would try to book on a weekday in the evening to avoid the crowds. Wonderful selection of dresses and the one we were at was busy with the seamstresses working hard.Good luck!

Thank you everyone! We have an appointment booked for David's at the end of the month. I was hoping to keep the price around the $200 each mark so it sounds like David's will fit that and have lots of options for the girls to pick from!

I got my bridesmaid dresses from David's bridal and would recommend them to anyone. We chose same colour, different styles and it all turned out great. The most they paid was 200.

My girls got their dresses at David's Bridal. Same dress/same colour - they were excellent and will ship right to your door or wherever you want (for additional $ of course)
I have found their prices to be reasonable compared to stores in my town. The girls dresses were $219 + tax.
They also have different sizes and styles for the girls to try on so you can see how they fit. I found the smaller stores didn't have a selection of sizes for all body types like David's Bridal did.

We purchased our bridesmaids dresses from David's bridal, for my sisters wedding last September. There were four of us in total, and the dresses were all the same colour but two girls wore a one shoulder style, and the other two wore a high neck halter - while the bottom of all the dresses were the same! We looked amazing. A few of us needed some alterations made, which cost us extra, but overall David's Bridal did have a wide selection. For prices, I would sign up online to receive email promotions!

I would also suggest to look at Henkaa's... https://www.henkaa.com/. They carry the convertible dress that can be styled in so many ways!

    Just a thought. Congrats btw!

My bridesmaid wore the White by Vera Wang line from David's bridal in Charcoal. They were decently priced and i believe we purchased it while the had the $20 off sale. I believe they all paid under $200 (?)

We received the dress earlier than their quoted date. My bridesmaids just had to shorten the straps and the length of the dress. We did not get our alterations done through DB.

I think there's only one style in Chiffon material (this one), but they have a crepe material where you can either get it as a one-shoulder, V neck halter, or strapless for the white by vera wang line Smiley smile

Sign-up for David's Bridal email list. They send me sales and promotions all of the time. My girls (8) are wearing black dresses of their choice because I don't want them to have to spend a fortune.

I have 6 bridesmaids and wanted the same length and colour. I was hesitant about Davids Bridal too but once we went all of the girls found the perfect dress for them and they each look stunning! I highly recommend them!

I got my dresses from Davids bridal. They were about $180-205 a dress depending the model (mine were floor length). My mom even got her dress their for $189.
I see your from PEI, do they have a davids bridal close in new brunswick or the closest is dartmouth? Its far depending where you are on the island but it might be worth it to go. For me it was a one stop shop. And when the dresses arrive they will ship them to you for free so you dont have to go back. Get a seamstress on island for the alterations.

I got my dresses from David’s Bridal. They are amazing! But I would get measurements and then order a size up and get alterations if needed.

We got lucky and found our bridesmaids dresses on Amazon.the quality is great and the price was 169$ CD and that was for floor length full sleeve. It's a shop in China but they use Amazon to sell internationally. The brand we used was called MACloth if you wanted to take a look. I would make sure you look at reviews and such but broaden your horizons. However David's bridal is a great option for same colour different dress styles because you can guarantee that all the dresses are made from the same colour and fabric. Instead of having different shades of the same colour.

I just recently got all my bridesmaid dresses from davids bridal. 2 of my 5 girls are in long dresses. The dresses are amazing and my girls just love them. I ended up trying them on in the langley store but bought them online feom the US store. The canadian and the US store have the same stuff, but prices may vary because they will have different sales. So look at both options! My girls dresses were $230 canadian OR $179 american. But the american site had a $40 off deal and free shipping so i paid $151 american tax included. Which works out to $190 canadian. So the exact same dress i saved $40/dress by buying through the american site and picking up at the border. So far 4/5 dresses have come in and im super happy with them all!

I was a bridesmaid a fee years ago and we got our dresses from David's. It was full length gown and I think it cost around 220 or 210? It was a while ago but it was definitely in the low 200s i believe.

I found my bridesmaids dresses through David's bridal. Check their online store for prices. Lots of stuff goes on sale but otherwise they are in a pretty standard price range. My girls had full length dresses that were around $210.

You know a few of my cousins that got married this year, found their dresses at Nordstrom's! You can order online and they will ship to Canada. Check the Bay as well! They've got great evening wear!

David's bridal is popular but I don't think you're going to find any bargains there. Here's a thought; why not check out regular dress shops and see if they have long gowns. I've seen long dresses on the Torrid website and several others that I can't remember the names of. You'll probably find something beautiful in your price range. I got my wedding dress from Penningtons. It was a beautiful tea length ivory lace dress and just what I wanted. Cost with $40.00 discount coupon was $45.00 plus tax.
