Hi, ladies!

I responded to Monica's topic in December; I ordered my wedding dress through David's Bridal in mid-to-late November, and I received an email earlier this week (and a phone call) indicating it's ready for pick up!

I was shocked, but pleased as it took as the process took approximately two months. I still have to book an appointment to have it altered, but I'm happy that it arrived much earlier than I was told it would.

I full on asked them about that. the Canadian operations are different then the American. and with the American its not a full bankruptcy/close their doors. its a restructuring/some investments from outside companies for funding.

We ordered ours ranging from mid-October to mid-November. They've started coming in, as well.

I ordered my wedding dress july 27th. it was shipped to me 4-5 weeks later (davids bridal is a 2 hour drive from me).

we are doing bridesmaid dress shopping January 13th. so excited!

I've had a lot of dresses from davids bridal. and find they are always pretty quick. (longest a dress took for me was 3 months).

This was true for me as well. All my bridesmaids dresses came very quickly.

That's good to hear - I haven't started shopping yet but I will maybe consider David's bridal depending where they stand closer to when I do.

I was on the front end of this kerfuffle, and it was the same for me, all ordered late August, and although they were "latest arrival late-Nov/early-Dec", they all came in by the end of September!!!
