Customizing the Wedding Website

Terresa, on January 31, 2019 at 14:03 Posted in Tech support 0 6

We are having our ceremony during a weekend of camping. I have two questions so far:

1) Is there a way to add "camping/not camping" to our website, sort of like the meal tracking option?

2) How do you set up a password? And do you have to set one for each page that is password-protected?

TIA!

    Hi Terresa!

I think Allison covered your password question pretty well, so I'll take care of your first question! What I would recommend you do is set up a new event within your guest list named something like "Camping" or "Will you be camping?" to which your guests can also Accept/Decline during the RSVP process. Just be sure that once you set up the new event, you add all your guests to that event, since guests will only be prompted to RSVP for an event their name has been added to.

If you're not using the meal tracking to track meals, you could also just use that tool to track this! If you change the meal options to "Camping" and "Not Camping" your guests would be prompted to select one of those while submitting their RSVP.

Hope this helps! Feel free to post any other questions here.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there's an option to add more questions to your RSVP.

That being said, I'd suggest looking into RSVPify (it's a website and app). They allow you to build an event and RSVP, which you can send electronically and track on their app. I'd definitely look into their services, if the wedding wire websites don't offer what you're looking for! You could even include the link to RSVPify to this website, if you wanted to keep all the info in one place.

For the password, you're gonna want to go under settings in the website editor/builder and there is a section to choose a password. You only have to set one but then can go under pages and make them password protected.
