Cue the confetti?

Joey, on August 1, 2018 at 17:05 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 15

Will you have confetti at your wedding? Will guests throw confetti on you and your spouse as you walk up the aisle? Will there be confetti blowing around your photo booth? Should your guests expect to be showered in confetti for your grand exit?

Will your wedding involve confetti, or will you skip this?

I would but our venue charges a clean up fee for confetti. I might still since we are allowed haha

Our venue doesn't allow it, but we're totally okay with that. It wasn't something we were keen on doing.

We are having our wedding at a historic property and they actually do not allow it. It wasn't something I wanted to do anyways so I was OK with that.

I agree that I love the look of it in photos and it’s fun to do but my venue charges extra to clean it up so we are skipping it.

As much as I love the visual of it and it makes for some cute pictures, I don't think I would feel comfortable having it since ours will be outdoors and even if it gets cleaned up ASAP, wind is likely to blow some away and create litter.

I've heard of people using little dried colorful flowers as they don't need a clean up if your outside Smiley smile We may do that - they make for lovely photos!

No, I wouldn't want the cleaning up afterwards.

We didn't have any and I didn't want the mess of it to be honest.

It’s not allowed at the venue. I’m hoping for bubbles instead.

I really like the look of it but alas, we are not allowed to have it at our venue(s).

That's a big nope! Unless you are inside for that it would be way too messy and bad for the environment anyway. We also aren't throwing rice (horrible for birds) and not doing the bubble blowing either (too over done). If I can find the time to make confetti out of leaves - then maybe?

Nah, not for us. Even if it was allowed I’m not a huge fan!

Nope, not for us. It's too messy and we have to clean the venue ourselves the next day so the less of a mess the better!
