Crunch Time - tips?

Hello all you stellar WeddingWire folx!

With about 3.5 months until I finally say "I do" to my dream man, I am starting to feel the pressure! We've got everything booked except our bartender (I am getting on that), but I am realizing that the list of really important things to do is starting to get longer as we get closer. Like... connecting with our officiant, and our caterer, and booking accommodations etc. I am starting to feel little bits of anxiety creeping in, to the point I'm actually starting to have dreams where I've missed my own wedding due to disorganization. I have a month-of coordinator, so I know come August 16th I don't have anything to worry about. But... MAN. How did I go from being super organized to a stress ball?!

Has anyone been through this / is anyone going through this? I would love words of wisdom or little hacks or tricks ya'll have to either get through the anxiety or formulate a way to be a little more organized. Whatever you've got, I'm open to it!

Wishing everyone happy planning & thank you in advance for reading my little ramble Smiley smile

If you can fit it into your budget, look into hiring a month/day of coordinator - The cost is not so bad and beyond worth it. Things get crazier and crazier as the day approaches and even with how overly organized I was, I would have been lost without mine! Every single day I would say hiring her was the best wedding decision I made. She also kept me so calm on the day of and I didn’t have to worry about anything Smiley smile

I still have 16 months everything done, just need to wait closer to the date for everything to get moving and I'm already feeling the stress. I'm also getting dreams that my Fiancé is leaving me or canceling the wedding on me because I was not ready... Oh I am ready 16 months to go and I am already done planning.

So I sort of feel you on the anxiety, not looking forward to be at your stage if this is how I feel now. lol

Hang in there you got this, it's just wedding nerves and being anxious to be so close to the day you get to say I do to your best friend.

Wish you all the best and please update us once you are now MRS.

The feeling of not being organized when your work in the field for other couples for their day as yours is arriving soon seems different from the view you give others. Maybe you should do what you do with the couples and go through the list to do what is needed for contacting your vendors and lists to ensure yourself you're on the path following everything.

We seem to do right for others though when it comes to our time, its harder to be on schedule when so much is happening. You will gain your confidence once you find your way back into organizing your binder/folder and contacts.

I'm still 4.5 months away and Im having the dreams too! SO I can feel this.

But I agree with Haileys mentality, we can't stress over things not in our control. Alot of those meetings are done a month-ish before your day, so you even have time before those come.

I can feel you on the night of accommodation, only because I just dont know where I want to book but know we need to book soon as our wedding is on the long weekend.

Just enjoy these next couple months because that last month will defineitly be crazy haha

Wedding stress is real for sure, everything will all fall into place!! My wedding is 22 days away...
I've been given advice which sticks with me which is worry about what you can control not what you can't.

I would keep track on paper Good luck planning 😃

You are definitely not alone, the wedding dreams are REAL.

I've just been making lists for everything that has to be done, and I've found the same thing, when I cross one thing off, two more get added.

Just know that you'll get through it all, and try to keep track of everything on paper so it's easier to visually see what needs to be done (as well as seeing how much you've accomplished helps).

    Good luck!!
