Hello Ladies, Congratulations and how exciting where getting married. I am jumping right into planning and booked a venue first thing. Then I took a break for the summer while my FH was on vacation from work.

How long is your engagement.? Mine has been since March 2019 . So last spring.

Its great to hear your on a role and almost done the list with the major vendors. Just one thing to say about paying and having track the information. Keep a binder or folder that will go with you on your day if anything happens or vendors cancel out for whatever reason they give. Its always good to have their contracts, emails and transaction so you have all on hand and to verify if someone is taking care of paying them and who is for what part of the services.

TIP: I didn't pay all the costs up before the wedding for some of the vendors due to them showing up and to perform their part of the contract. They will indicate that as well. Also see if they are required to be served a meal if you wish to place that value as the tip amount.

    Hello Vinod

Thank you for you kind words.

Yes we are moving right along. I've hired a photographer, my invitations are being worked on as we speak, ordered save the dates, rented a photo booth and this week our hotel block will be rented.

I started and almost completed the guest list. I have all the guest and about 50% of the address and info all filled in.

I have emailed a DJ and soon we will pay.

We are trying to pay everyone was before the wedding. Because I Totally get last minute expenses will arrive.

I finally get to go dress shopping in about 3 weeks. I Cant wait Im so excited.

My FH works away from home and month at a time.

Congrats on your engagement and great start on getting your venue booked. A break is good since you don't need to worry about finalizing the numbers. Once you get the guest list done and the guests app is useful to have all guests reply given the site and wedding name to confirm provided on the invitation.

Are any other vendors booked now since you have gotten the chance to look into them?

You will come across many brides/grooms that will be getting the same day as you.
