Costco bulk flowers

Emily, on September 3, 2019 at 18:25 Posted in Plan a wedding 1 12
Wondering if anyone has used Costco for bulk flowers for their wedding before, if you have - what was your experience? If you used another wholesaler I’d love to hear about that too Smiley smile

We special ordered our white roses from Costco. I think they wanted the order placed a week in advance (maybe it was two weeks, I can't remember now). No problems, and the flowers were beautiful.

From what I’m hearing it’s safer to go in person a couple days before to make sure 🤔🤔 I’ll definitely have to make sure what I want would be there though! So sorry you had to deal with that but good ok you for making th best of the situation ☺️

OKAY - good and bad! I only needed 4 bouquets, I special ordered flowers a month in advance.. my man went to pick them up 2 days before the wedding (the lady said its best we come 2 days early to have time to arrange the flowers and for them to finish blooming?) anyway... I got home to see all my flowers were already dead.... the sunflowers were browning and falling apart.. Every rose I touched to put into a bouquet would just fall apart.. I was sooo disappointed. HOWEVER, I took them back and got a full refund and then picked out some nice fresh flowers the day before the wedding, and it all turned out okay. I did not get to use my original idea for the flowers as I wanted sunflowers and red roses, but I did find similar flowers and fresh roses that turned out great, I just had to compromise a little. If i was to do it again I would just go in the day before and pick the prettiest flowers, or even safeway has beautiful flowers but they are more expensive. Idk if i just got the short end of the stick this time around with the flowers but ya, the ones i special ordered were all dead. but the ones they had in the store the next day were fresh and pretty.

Awesome! Are you thinking to visit in-store a few days before the wedding? Will they have lots of stock?

Wow thank you so much for this honest review! I’m looking at eucalyptus and baby’s breath too so that’s great to hear 😁 maybe also white hydrangeas and roses but undecided!

I got married this weekend and I used Costco flowers. I went to meet with the florist that works there for a special order a couple months prior and I picked it up de day before. Everything was perfect and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL!!! I ordered silver dollar eucalyptus, white roses and babysbreath. The only down side is that the babysbreath were not there on time, I had to wait 30 minutes because the delivery was late. I paid 176$ and I had waaaaaaay too much i ended up using the leftover for more decorations. The flowers are still holding strong 3 days after the wedding! I would recommend it to any diy bride I know

My mom was a florist in the past and she got back to me saying it was “pricey” and that she’s going to check with some other florists to see their pricing - so that’s helpful! I also have a coworker whose husband works for Costco so I think I would be safe if I went in and ordered in person instead of online ☺️

I heard lots of good reviews about Costco flowers! We are planning to use some ourselves for our centerpieces Smiley smile Most florists also sell bulk flowers if that is what you prefer, for peace of mind

One couple got married and went through Costco for flowers which was never received to them for their wedding. I would make it a point to pick up personally knowing its with you and at the reception hall ready to go. A day before you plan on going to the venue and requesting to have some space in the fridge if they can hold for you.
