Corsages: Yea or Nay?

Lynnie, on August 22, 2017 at 16:05 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 11

Will you be ordering corsages for your moms and grandmas? Or will you be skipping them, or doing something else instead?

Corsages can feel a little "prom" to me, but I didn't want to make the moms not feel special! What are you planning on doing?

I was told they're a cheap and easy way to make my MIL and mom happy.

We did corsages for my mom and MIL. We had asked them and they were ok with it. They turned out GORGEOUS and I wish I had gotten one too! They held up pretty well throughout the night too.

We didn't order corsages for my mom or mil etc. Nobody was bothered by it at all!

I order corsages for my mom, my MIL and my fiances grandmother. We also ordered boutonnieres for FH's dad, stepdad and his grandfather, but the groomsmen and my fiance will not be wearing boutonnieres as none of them wanted to, which is fine with me!

I hadn't planned on getting corsages for the mums or boutonnieres but my mum kept asking me if she would be wearing one so I ended up getting them.

Nope. Both dads are getting their boutonnières but I'm not planning on doing anything for the moms... I've been thinking about a "rose ceremony" type thing... but I'm not sure yet

I have a corsage for my future MIL. My mother is no longer with us and neither are the fathers.

My friend is doing my flowers and she is also very artistic so she is making some crepe paper corsages and boutonieres. It saves a ton of money and they look real which is great!
