We are doing a cocktail hour but we will not be serving any hors d'oeuvres. We are getting married in March so it will give people somewhere to go in the cold.

We will be having a cocktail hour at the reception area. We are getting married in a church than going to different location for supper/reception. They will have the option to have drinks and snacks while waiting for us to return. It will be around an hour long

We did not. We felt it was not necessary as we were having an early dinner. Wanted to save a bit of money as well. Plus, on any other day, we don’t eat at that time.

Our Wedding Ceremony begins at 4pm. Our Cocktail hour begins immediately following our ceremony. There will be appetizers served and the bar will be open. During this time, we'll be having our pictures done. Just before 6pm, there will be a call to tables and then our Wedding Party will be announced and then we will be announced. The big decision for us is whether to go straight into our 1st dance and then dinner or to have our dance after dinner.

We are having one, but it's not right after the ceremony. Our ceremony will end around 3:30 and the cocktail hour is at 5-5:30. Lots of guests will be checking into the hotel and the check-in time is at 3 when our ceremony starts so most will probably go get settled afterwards.

We might have the option to start earlier, it all depends on when the reception space gets set up.

We had cocktail hour between the group pictures timing for those done apart from family shots.

There were 5 different varieties to taste and veg being served too. It was part of the package offered with 4 course meal and late night buffet.

We're having a cocktail party after the ceremony, so the guests can head over to the reception venue and have fun while we take pictures.

We are skipping it! Since we are having the ceremony and reception at the same venue we just will walk straight into the reception! We plan on letting the guests get drinks and get settled in, but that's just so it's not rushed.

We're hosting a cocktail hour at our reception site (a golf course) so that the guests have something to do while the wedding party does pictures. The bar will be open and we will have outdoor games on the lawn around the tent.

Our cocktail hour will be kicked off by a mimosa toast by us shortly after the ceremony. We’re having a morning ceremony followed by a brunch reception. The cocktail hour will be held at about 11:30/noon.Our ceremony and reception will be in the same venue, and there’s an in between space where the cocktail hour will be held.

We are having a short cocktail hour. Our ceremony is at 5 and everything will be right after. So once the ceremony is done it will be there while we are doing some pictures!

We had a cocktail hour right after the ceremony while we had our pictures done and the guests were waiting for lunch. It didn't come with any package, we paid for it just to entertain the guests and hold them over til our late (1:30 pm) lunch started. Everything was held at the same venue.

Yes, we're hosting a cocktail hour. We're having it at our reception venue starting at 5 or 5:30pm. It comes with our reception package, so of course we would have it!
