Christmas wedding struggle!

Shla, on December 29, 2018 at 01:57 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 8
So we have decided to plan our wedding for December 28th 2019. We are JUST at a year!!!
We have our venue booked and they take care of catering. Next we want to book our officiant and photographer.

What we are finding is that it is SO hard to find invitations that go with the theme!!! We're having a "classy Christmas" theme. With the colours being green, red and gold. Heavy on the green. We are finding all stationary to be mostly blue for the winter season.

Does anyone have any suggestions for where to look? So far Vistaprint and Shutterfly haven't had anything.

Thanks!

    Check out zazzle.

or the other option. is you can hire a graphic designer from vistaprint. and they will design what you like (not sure on the fee for it).

or if you know a graphic designer. have them design an invite for you. and print them on vistaprint.

Eeee... First of all, your date is my engagement date (December 28th, 2017)... soooo EXCELLENT choice... haha.

Second, Vistaprint is suuuuper customizable, so although you don't see something right of the bat that works, if you work with it a bit, you can end up with something 100% unique and personalized to you!

For example here is the original of a flat (not folded) Christmas card:

And after some tweaking/deleting, and new text fields, I turned it into something that looks like a wedding invitation, but with the dark, rich Christmas green you may have been looking for:

Vistaprint has cards that allow you to choose the colours and to add graphics you like to the card. I found it easy and useful to look for the design I wanted when creating the cards.

Seconding Cards and Pockets!! We bought our Purple Pockets and Gold Belly Bands from here and everything was amazing!!! Also they can send you samples to test before you buy your full amount! Amazing quality and prices!!!
Another place I would check out is Etsy.com you might be able to find some nice themed designs on there that people can make and ship to you! Some even offer a digital file which you can get and print them on your own (at Staples or something so you can save on shipping!)

Etsy had some beautiful Christmas templates- which I was trying to avoid having a November wedding but there were some gorgeous ones I’d seen. A lot of them are downloadable to print yourself so then you can just print them through vistaprint or staples! I would suggest taking a look.

I recently found a website called www.cardsandpockets.com .. it's got great prices, and while we are printing at home they have tons of colors available and have designers on staff and the ability to print everything out for you (including your own design). All of our stationary was purchased as one of the packs, for $1.27 per invitation. This included a card holder, a7 envelope RSVP envelope, and invitation mounting mat all in the colours that i chose! I also splurged and bought envelope liners, but all together for 70 invites it was $120! Shipping is admittedly expensive, but the rest of the prices are so much lower that it totally makes it worth it!
