Our venue has a stage at one end to fill the empty space... My dad is going to cut a few small birch trees before they bud and we will string lights on them... Kind of like the attached photo minus the Christmas decorations.

We ate doing Mason jars, aqua beads and floating candles. Jars are easy to find if you know someone who does canning, aqua beads a at any dollar store and 1 pack makes lots so wouldn't need a lot, and thed candles again at any dollar store! Then tie the hay or lace or ribbon around the opening. I did 12 jars for maybe 10$.

Hi Michelle! Welcome to the community! Smiley heart I'm so glad you got such amazing suggestions! Another good way to go could be to make some decorations yourself Smiley smile You could take a look at these discussions for ideas:

Like Val said- amazon is great for the string lights!

And if you put them in your basket, and ignore it for a few days they ofter "magically" go on sale Smiley winking

You can even buy lighted curtains on amazon for pretty cheap and they look REALLY nice!

I like the string lights! I am already doing a chandalier (used) with fabric draping to hide the drop ceiling! Thanks!

Well! It will depend on the style of your wedding, but here are a few of my favourite ideas Smiley smile

    String lights

    Or a paper flower wall?

Or hanging flowers....But those get more expensive

Do any of these tickle your fancy?
