Changing the date because of covid!

Emmy, on September 13, 2020 at 23:43 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 5
Anyone else in the same situation as me we moved up our date due to covid. Been having a hard time of a few venues getting back to us with pricing. Any suggestions?? I know people are closed and cautious but our date isn't till April 23rd of 2022. I wish I could have it sooner because of my moms illness but doesn't look like thats gonna happen!!

Its one in burlington I sent them an email clarifying as I feel like I misunderstood but your right there that would 100% be a fire hazard. I don't know why they would even do that but maybe they open both banquet rooms up which would make more sense.

What venue is making you spend for 100 people when their legal capacity is 50? Even without covid, that sounds like a fire hazard and carries a heavy fine.

Covid is such a time giving venues to get back to clients for available dates. It seems their push backs are just making the time to adjust for new clients to book. I hope you do get responses back soon to get a venue locked in.

Emails and calls may not help much if they don't answer back as quick. Some couples have gone this route and found it hard as well as your going through. Don't feel discouraged, keep on trying and you will find hope somewhere.

I think a lot of venues are still a little swamped trying to figure out how to accommodate or rearrange their 2020 brides, so I wouldn't worry too much yet if you haven't heard back.

How have you been reaching out? If you've been emailing have you tried calling or vice versa?
