Ceremony Songs - Traditional or Modern?

I had chosen for us a Traditional Indian song. This choice changes with every couple having that kind of ceremony, though ours was fusion Indian Civil.

I have not thought about this yet but we will probably going modern.

It's funny I never thought about this. I always just assumed we walk to here comes the bride. I've chosen modern for all my other answers so it seems strange to go with traditional here but I honestly have no idea what other song I'd go with. I love that these questions really make you think and open up new possibilities!

Ooooh, I haven't gotten this far yet! I think 'Here Comes the Bride' is too traditional for me... but something soft, instrumental, and more classic is definitely the route I'd go. I'm not big into making walking down the aisle into a performance.... Even if it is the most awesome wedding moment, and may or may not make me cry every time.

I went traditional here as well! The church where we had our ceremony had an organ, so we used traditional hymns and "here comes for the bride" for my processional!

Modern. I chose an instrumental piece from a movie soundtrack.

Traditional, but not Here Comes the Bride, I’ll be walking down the aisle to Pachabel’s “Canon.” Ever since I was a kid I’d always imagine walking down the aisle to that and my mum walked down to it too so I can’t imagine anything else.

Right now I have been debating on having a bag pipe to commemorate my mother's heritage, but if we do an indoor wedding the space is small with lower ceilings so it might be too much.

Modern! I was very against the traditional here. I want a nice sweet song but something that reflects our relationship and personalities. I haven't found the song yet, if I can't find a song like that with lyrics then I'll just choose one from the Harry Potter movies.

Modern! My brother is playing the keyboard for me to walk down the aisle. He’ll be playing “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” for the bridesmaids and “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran for me!
