Ceremony Music?

Gabrielle, on October 30, 2018 at 20:46 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 9
I’m struggling to find the perfect songs for my ceremony. Im very much into music and want to find the right tunes. Do i use the same track as my bridesmaids and groomsmen, do i have a track all to myself?

My twin sister just had her wedding, she picked an instrumental piece which she had for everyone including herself, and she walked in at the climax of the song. Which I will have the same thing, just for better flow. I have seen it done both ways though with different songs for the wedding party and bride.

Since we don't have a wedding party, we're only going to need 2 songs for the processional : A song for the ring bearer/flower girl, and a song for myself walking down the aisle. So far, I'm pretty set on the cover of 'Crazy in Love' by Daniela Andrade.

As for the kids, I have absolutely NO clue what to pick. I want something fun and light, maybe I'll dig in the Disney repertoire!

We did one for bridesmaids (our groomsman were already at the alter), and then one for me. One great suggestion I heard during our planning was to use songs you considered for first dance but ruled out. That way, you can still incorporate special songs in another way. Same goes for licence signing and recessional.

For sure have a song for yourself! I think I have to chose from preselected songs for getting married in the church but I saw once someone said they walked down the aisle to the instrumental music of Paradise by Cold Play AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!

We did an instrumental song for the parents and bridal party, and I walked in to Ellie Goulding's "How long will I love you"

Typically, the bride has her own song, so the change of song is a way to announce that the bride is coming, but, if you like the same song for all of you, you're welcome to do that as well!

I’m finding that a song for the girls is the toughest. For me the boys some was easy...they are all retired bull riders so we’re going with Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys lol. But I don’t really want that to be for the girls too!

We are doing the same track for both the groomsmen and bridesmaids, and then a different track for us. we really love movie scores and some specific composers, so we've mostly chosen from those. we've selected 2 songs by ludovico einaudi for the bridesmaids to walk to, and a different one for me to walk to that also appeared in one of my favourite tv shows, sense8. and when we walk back our, we're doing the avengers theme song because we're both huge dorks. music can be tough to choose, so good luck!

I really like the idea that when my groom walks down the aisle we can play "Whatta man" and then idc what we play for the groomsmen or bridesmaids but I want something similar but for myself. Of course you could always do music that doesn't have lyrics? I think that I may do that for my bridesmaids.
