Just wondering your guys thoughts are on centerpieces and if they have to match. I am toying with the idea of using my centrepieces as centrepieces but also as my in memory of things. So we are having a cocktail style reception and there would be like 8 tables. I am thinking of using some type of glass vase/jar filled with an item that reminds us of the person who we are missing for example my nana had a huge jar of buttons that we would sort and play with as kids, so I could fill one of the jars with buttons. I am finding that all the ideas for in memory of are not really my style. Please let me know your thoughts and ideas

Love this idea! I think it's unique and a great way to remember the loved ones you've lost! Centrepieces don't all have to look the same!
You can keep them somewhat uniform by using the same size container to hold the items, but even that is optional I think.

This is a cute idea; since each jar will represent something different, I think in this case it's okay for your centerpieces to be mismatched (given what they are displayed in is consistent).
