So we are planning to make these for our centre pieces and have also put the silk red pettles to tie in the colour red. The chair covers are going to be white with a red chair sash. The lantern would be black and we would get the fake led lights from ikea. Just wondering if the head table should have the same centre pieces or something different. Let me know your thoughts

Thanks for the suggestions. We are not having a white head table. We are going with black lanterns because red and black are the colours we are using.

I like when the head table is slightly different! One idea I've seen before and really like is when the bridesmaids place their bouquets along the head table. They aren't needed during the reception so it's nice to see them displayed somewhere.

I would do small white votive holders and candles inside them. and do lots on the head table. and then just scatter red petals (if you are having a white head table cloth).
if you wanted the lantern. I would just do 2. one at each end of the table to tie it all together.

Thanks it’s not too expensive I might even look if we can get the lanterns from dollarama saw some on a buy and sell and might check the quality. Anything to cut down on cost lol

Maybe do a bundle of 3 lanterns at the head table in a few different sizes? Same theme but a little bit extra!

I think that it's great the way it is but maybe for the one right in front of you and your FH you could use a white candle and white petals? Just my thoughts

I liked the idea of consistency. Having one of each of these on the ends of the head table would be perfect, and then if you wanted something a little different in front of you two, in the middle, you could do that. Love this look!
